Soul Tapestry Face I:
The Tapestry Mirrors (2024)
[ I Saw Myself )
As the first "Face" of a two-part project, The Tapestry Mirrors are a set of five large, arched mirror pieces created to provide a new lens through which to decipher Black identity in America.
Inspired by the Black Mecca that is Harlem New York, each mirror in this series of five is dedicated to a major landmark in the community.
The Tapestry Mirrors are currently on display at Cafe Melo in Harlem.
Official photos to come.
